Article Abstract:
The city of Philadelphia, PA, was the perfect setting for the Terry Gilliam- film, '12 Monkeys.' The movie is about decay, loss and a deadly virus that wiped out the civilization in the year 2035. The contrast between the city's grand structures and its poverty worked for the post-apocalyptic movie.

Philmadelphia: looking for more action!

Philadelphia, PA, has been the site for a few major motion pictures and some feature films in 1995, such as '12 Monkeys' and 'Two Bits.' Although reeling from a cut in state funding, the Greater Philadelphia Film Office has made filmmaking its priority.
