A PC under every tree?
Article Abstract:
Prices for PCs have declined dramatically in the UK recently, and a computer may therefore appear to be the ideal Christmas gift. However, latest PCs now have a wide range of multimedia features, and this is making them more expensive again. Before purchasing, it is vital to consider how the equipment will be used. Some people may only need an inexpensive PC and modem if they are simply going to do tasks such as sending faxes and playing computer games, while those who wish to use CR-Roms and the Internet will require a multimedia machine.
