A slice of Bacon
Article Abstract:
Richard Bacon, former presenter of children's television programme 'Blue Peter,' recognizes that he was misguided in taking drugs, which led to him being asked to leave the programme. He believes that weakness of mind and drinking too much alcohol caused him to take drugs. He feels that it was right that he was dismissed from 'Blue Peter,' as the BBC had to ensure that children received an anti-drugs message. He coped very well emotionally with being exposed by the media, as he is not a very emotional person.
