A touch of glass
Article Abstract:
The most successful conservatories are those that face east, as the morning sun then warms up the building but the plants do not become too hot. A high level of light can be ensured by having at least two windowed walls and a glass roof. It is worth considering planting vines, as these give a conservatory an atmosphere of luxuriance and shade the roof in summer. Other plants that are successful in conservatories include the edible variety of passion flower, geraniums and jasmine. Using a dehumidifier will ensure that the conservatory remains quite damp and that pests are not a problem.

Do you control your garden, or does it control you?
Article Abstract:
Most people are happy to allow their garden plants some degree of freedom, and often enjoy seeing how the garden develops naturally. However, there can be occasions when it is not appropriate to allow nature to run its course. If a disease such as honey fungus begins attacking ailing shrubs, for example, then action needs to be taken. It is worth splitting and replanting some plants occasionally, as this keeps them more healthy.
