A walk in the white forest
Article Abstract:
Poland appears to have become a wealthier country over the last few years, but under the surface old attitudes still exist, with tourists often falling victim to unscrupulous police officers, for example. However, it is still worth visiting the country, especially the Tatra National Park. This is part of the Carpathians, and has many clearly marked, colour-coded paths. The area is extremely attractive, offering wonderful scenery and great tranquility.

Hollywood comes to Hackney
Article Abstract:
Hollywood screen idol Ralph Fiennes is entering a new environment as he appears in 'Hamlet' at the Hackney Empire, situated in the poorest borough of London. The local council is very please to have attracted such a high-profile actor, believing that his presence may spark off some social and economic regeneration in the area. The performances are already sold out, but people will be attending to see Fiennes rather than to see a Shakespeare play.
