After the verdict
Article Abstract:
Inner city areas of London such as Somers Town, near Kings Cross, continue to see a steady rise in racial tension and race-related incidents. In Somers Town, there were 136 'racial indicidents' in 1994, and there have been 362 so far in 1995. The situation has become even worse following the life sentence verdict on a 20-year-old Asian found guilty of murdering a 15-year-old white boy.
