Article Abstract:
It is advisable never to start smoking, according to Bruce Adams, who used to smoke 80 cigarettes a day and played a key role in promoting Marlboro cigarettes in Australia. He admits that he is very attracted to the smell and taste of smoking, but is now very aware of the dangers of smoking-related diseases and gave up smoking in the mid-1980s. He has now been recruited as an ambassador by the National Heart Council.

Arsonists blamed for spread of Sydney bushfires
Article Abstract:
More than 100 bushfires are still burning in New South Wales, Australia. It is thought that many of them were started by arsonists. There has been extensive disruption, with 150 houses burning down and electricity supplies cut off.
