The Open University faces constant change as it responds to developments in technology and in higher education. Traditional methods of delivering Open University courses will remain appropriate for some time to come, but the Open University is also aware that latest technology offers exciting new possibilities. The Open University must be a pioneer of new technologies, assessing how new media can be used most appropriately for educational purposes.
