City fears about Labour refuse to go away

The Labour party's economic policies are becoming more acceptable to City analysts, but there are still considerable fears about their impact on leading industries. Analysts believe that the party could still be tempted to stick to interventionist approaches to individual industries, and this will have a negative impact on shares in water, the banks, electricity, gas, transport and other politically delicate areas in the run-up to the general election.
