Oh, the lesbian chic of it all
Article Abstract:
Lesbianism has become more socially acceptable over recent years, and is even regarded as fashionable in some circles. This is possibly because the barriers between homosexuality and heterosexuality are becoming blurred. Furthermore, lesbians are seen as less threatening and more attractive than gay men. However, there are still rather mixed attitudes to lesbians. The media finds lesbians acceptable if they are glamorous, but cannot accept certain aspects of lesbianism, such as a lesbian couple raising a child.

Not everything shrinks with movie therapy
Article Abstract:
Films can play a valuable role in helping people overcome their problems, according to film therapist Bernie Wooder. He feels that characters in films are useful role models and that films can offer a solution to people's problems much more rapidly than conventional therapy. However, it is important to be cautious about what films you watch. Indeed, some films could create psychiatric problems in some people, rather than curing them.
