Article Abstract:

The Heinz Gallery, Portman Square, London, is part of the Royal Institute of British Architects' (RIBA) British Library Drawings Collection and celebrates its 20th anniversary with its 93rd exhibition in Jun 1992. The collection includes drawings for every occasion. Finance from Americans Mr and Mrs Henry Heinz II allowed space for exhibitions which help give architects a feeling of continuity. When the lease expires in 1992, the collection may move to the RIBA headquarters at Portland Place, London.

Countdown to millenium Monday: how to survive Y2K

Article Abstract:

A pharmacists talks about the impending Y2K problem. He says that most of his colleagues are concerned about the problem although no one really knows what will happen on the eve of Dec 31, 1999. He also plans to develop unique products to cash in on the Y2K problem. These include Talking Accessory Labels which are tiny microchip-embedded stickers which give patients messages when pressed and the Vibrating Pill Tray which can make pills migrate into the right plastic receptacle.

Results of the 1995 AMS private sector survey

Article Abstract:

The American Meteorological Society conducted general surveys of the private sector in 1990 and in 1993 to determine the issues that professional meteorologists are facing. These surveys aim to increase the understanding on the private sector of meteorology. Results showed that the private sector is an energetic, dynamic and vital component of the meteorological profession.
