New evidence has emerged linking Afghanistan's Taliban regime and Osama bin Laden's al-Qa'ida organization with the attacks on the World Trade Centre and the Pentagon. Documents seized in Kabul show targets that al-Qa'ida had been considering, along with information about leading members of the organization.

The divorce proceedings may also spark off a bitter and embarrassing family conflict over control of News Corp. Mrs Murdoch is a News Corp director, and could try to claim some of the money held in trust for her children. Murdoch has 789 businesses in 52 countries, along with more than 200 newspapers worldwide.
