EUROPE: JIWAY'S FEE FOR SHARE TRADING FACILITY
Article Abstract:
Jiway will impose a Euro 7 fee on retail brokers in the UK, Sweden and Germany using its new online share trading platform. Jiway, which is a joint venture between Morgan Stanley Dean Witter and OM Gruppen, plans to launch the platform in November 2000, offering small investors a one-stop shopping service in cross-border stocks. The fee, for implementing, clearing and settling an equity order, will cover 6,000 listings on seven bourses across Europe as well as the US-based Nasdaq.
