Exit from the city of destruction
Article Abstract:
The modern city offers its inhabitants everything they could possibly wish for in the way of facilities and entertainment, according to Jonathan Glancey, speaking at the Royal Society of Arts on the future of the city. However, deregulation has been allowed to become the dominant force, bringing new problems. There has been a shift away from regulation, order, civic pride and similar concepts, but it may now be time to revive them. If this does not happen, then the modern city is in danger of disintegration.

City of sin attracts British criminal tendency
Article Abstract:
The city of Pattaya, Thailand, has for many years been associated with sex tourism. However, it has recently started to attract criminal gangs from Japan, Russia and the UK, and this has prompted a sharp rise in violent crime there. Since mid-1996, almost 50 foreigners have been killed in Pattaya, and the Thai authorities are now coming under strong pressure to take action to enforce law and order. However, incidents of violent crime continue to arise very frequently.
