Air strikes will not win this war - so let's send in the ground troops

Air strikes can only play a minor part in the overall military strategy towards Afghanistan. In order to track down the terrorists believed to be hiding there, it will be necessary to use ground-based forces. Attention must also be given to the rebuilding of Afghanistan when the conflict has ended.

Mujahedin push devastates Tora Bora
Article Abstract:
US bombs have caused serious damage to caves in the Tora Bora region of Afghanistan where Al Qa'ida fighters are hiding. The fighters have now contacted mujahedin commanders to negotiate a surrender. Many have fled, possibly including Osama bin Laden himself.
