Ferdy Mayne

Actor Ferdinand Mayer-Horckel, known as Ferdy Mayne, was born in Germany, but trained for the stage at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and the Old Vic School in London, England. His first West End role was as Kurt Muller in Lillian Hellman's play 'Watch on the Rhine' in 1943. He appeared in more than 80 films, and also appeared in television productions including 'Epitaph for a Spy' and 'The Royalty.'

John Mitchum

Singer, actor and poet John Mitchum was born in Bridgeport, CT, in 1919. He joined the Long Beach Players Guild in 1939 and served in the army as a radioman during the second world war. His career as a character actor began with the film 'The Prairie.'
