Finding true romance behind bars
Article Abstract:
There is growing interest in www.jailbabes.com, an Internet site linking female prisoners with partners outside the prison system. The Jail Babes service, created by Ken Kleine in 1998, does not charge the prisoners, but subscribers must pay $7 for each name and address. Women who are serving life sentences are proving particularly popular, possibly because many subscribers do not want commitment. Kleine warns subscribers to avoid women who ask for money immediately.
