Roddick quits helm at Body Shop
Article Abstract:
Anita Roddick, founder of retail chain Body Shop, denies that her decision to step down as chief executive means that she will now be distancing herself from the business. Analysts believe that Body Shop was certainly in need of changes at senior level, especially in order to deal with the problem of uniting all the various aspects of the business. Body Shop plans to revive its activities in the US by transferring them to a joint venture controlled by Adrian Bellamy, a non-executive director.
