Home, sweet home
Article Abstract:
The ethnic Albanian residents of Nogovc, Kosovo, Yugoslavia, believed that Nato bomb attacks on the Serbs, their oppressors, would improve their situation. In fact, they were soon forced to flee from their homes as the Serbs entered surrounding villages, looting homes and killing many people. The Serbs forced the residents of Nogovc to escape to refugee camps in Kukes, Albania, and took away their identification papers. Some of the ethnic Albanians have now returned to Nogovc, but their property has been stolen and their homes destroyed.

Serbs start returning to live in denial
Article Abstract:
Many Serbs left Kosovo, Yugoslavia, when the ethnic Albanians began to return to the province. However, the Serbs are already coming back. In Pristina, the capital of Kosovo, the Serbs are keeping a low profile, even though they claim that no ethnic Albanians were forced from their homes by the paramilitaries. They also dismiss reports of ethnic Albanians being tortured by the police. There is still a climate of rumour and suspicion in Pristina.

A pilot saw blazing villages, then a convoy. Seconds later, he fired
Article Abstract:
It is now becoming clear that Nato planes bombed one or more convoys of ethnic Albanians fleeing from Kosovo, Yugoslavia. The attack, on a road near Djakovica in south-west Kosovo, has been called a tragic accident by Nato. Information from Nato indicates that the attack was intended to hit a military convoy, but the Serbs state that there was no military convoy in this area and that Nato deliberately targeted the refugees.
