Article Abstract:

Article Abstract:
The recent television interview with the Princess of Wales, in which she spoke very openly about her feelings, will have a permanent impact on the British monarchy. She has shown that she will not be prepared to be pushed quietly to one side, and has shaken the establishment out of its blind self-confidence. She has broken the media fantasy of her as a fairytale princess, and has shown that she is a strong woman who enjoys the normal pursuits of modern life.
