Men on a monthly cycle
Article Abstract:
Men's magazine Arena, which was launched in 1986, remained a bi-monthly publication until the beginning of 1996. This production cycle allowed it to produce very high quality editorial, but became no longer feasible as competition in the men's magazine sector increased. Since it became a monthly publication, it has increased staff and editorial budgets and has put a lot more effort into publicity.
