Rima Drell Reck (1933-1997), a specialist in French modernist literature and art, is remembered. Reck was Distinguished Professor of Interart Studies and Comparative Literature Emeritus at the University of New Orleans and author of 'Literature and Responsibility' and 'Drieu La Rochelle and the Picture Gallery Novel: French Modenrism in the Interwar Years.'
