Clinton storms White House

Arkansas Governor Bill Clinton was declared winner of the US Presidential elections on Nov 04, 1992, the first Democratic winner since 1976. At 1.30 am he had won 16 states compared to President George Bush's three. Clinton campaign manager David Wilhelm considered that the economy and changes in foreign policy ideas after the Cold War had affected the voting. More people voted than in 1988's election. He will be inaugurated on Jan 20, 1992.
