'More than anything I miss being at the centre of things. There's not even a Gap in Winchester.' (problems associated with moving to country)(Your Money)
Article Abstract:
Some people who choose to abandon city life and live in the countryside find that rural life does not live up to their expectations. They initially enjoy the beauty and peace of the countryside, but find after a while that this way of life can be rather boring and isolated. There can be practical difficulties associated with living in the countryside, and the local people may not necessarily be very friendly. Some people who move to the countryside eventually decide to move back to the city, and are relieved to have done so.

A stroke of suburban genius
Article Abstract:
There are more properties in the UK with a swimming pool than is commonly believed. It is possible to install a concrete mosaic pool which is 16ft wide and 32ft long with a depth of up to 6.6ft for around 24,000 pounds sterling. There are also many apartment properties where ownership gives the right to use a communal swimming pool. Potential purchasers do not necessarily list a swimming pool as a necessity, but a pool will never detract from a house's value.
