Issues concerning the distribution of child pornography via the internet are discussed. It is argued that merely looking at child pornography is not an acceptable defence.

Scotland will be the first skirmish in the battle for Britishness
Article Abstract:
The UK government is beginning to develop a new theme in relation to Britishness. New Labour has adapted to a more Scottish identity, but the government has recognized that it must stand up for the Union if it is to avoid an expansion of English and Scottish nationalism. The government must take a lead in defining what a UK identity really means, as failure to do so will mean that others with different interests will begin to determine the agenda.

The times when granny knows more than the Prime Minister
Article Abstract:
The UK government will implement real and lasting radical change, but this process is currently proceeding too slowly. Insufficient attention is being given to the really difficult questions, such as decentralizing the education system and establishing a fair funding structure for a more efficient National Health Service. Prime Minister Tony Blair must now seek to act upon his genuine insight into how ordinary people are feeling.
