Sparks still flying
Article Abstract:
Music group Sparks, created by brothers Russell and Ron Mael, was successful in France in the early 1980s and in Los Angeles in the late 1980s. It also had a hit in Germany in 1995. However, it has never really established a strong following in the UK, despite having released 17 albums. The brothers were brought up with American rock music, but were also strongly influenced by unusual British sounds. Many observers have dismissed their music as ironic and camp, but in fact the songs on their most recent album, 'Plagiarism,' are very moving.

Hey, show an old guy some respect
Article Abstract:
Hollywood film makers have started to use older stars again over recent years, but have mainly given them insignificant cameo roles. Almost the only exception to this is Paul Newman, who has succeeded in growing old gracefully.
