Take a cutting, shed a tear, wave goodbye
Article Abstract:
When moving house, leaving the garden can be a wrench, but the law says everything should be left unless specifically excluded from the sale contract. Garden buildings and ornaments which are fixed should remain with the property. Mary Anne Robb has to leave Chisenbury Priory, Wiltshire, England, after 12 years. A formal, classic garden is simple to replicate, but Chisenbury Priory has many small corners of personally chosen plants. Mrs Robb will compensate by planning a new garden with great potential.
