The customer comes last
Article Abstract:
Most of the UK's estate agents have failed to join the Ombudsman for Estate Agents scheme, and this means that the scheme has not yet gained the credibility it requires to be really effective. The slow up-take is a cause of concern for the National Association of Estate Agents, which feels that estate agents have not acknowledged the benefits of the scheme in emphasizing their commitment to high standards. Ombudsman for Estate Agents David Quayle is particularly concerned that none of the leading 30 estate agents has agreed to participate.

Telling you where to go
Article Abstract:
It is becoming increasingly common in the UK for people who have spare funds to purchase a property to rent out to others. Experts advise that it is not necessary to purchase a property in your own area, unless you want to manage it yourself. It is worth focusing on areas where the local economy is strong, bringing demand for rental property. It is important to be aware that income from rental property can be unpredictable. Purchasing four or five properties spreads the risk and brings a better rental return.
