The perfect 20th-century Bohemian
Article Abstract:
Raga Woods, 52, founder of the Gingerbread organisation for single parents, served three days in Holloway prison for protesting at the M3 construction site at Twyford Down, Winchester, England. Raga, born Tessa Fothergill in Manchester, married a teacher and had two sons, but her interests in spiritual perceptions led her to leave him and travel. She went to Spain, lived in a Buddhist monastery in Scotland, and visited India. There she met and married Agar Noiroi, a Zen monk from Japan. They had a son, Sadhu, in 1979. Raga and Sadhu travelled to North America and settled near Winchester.

Warriers with a sense of humour
Article Abstract:
The newspaper Class War is the product of a small group of people who uphold anarchy, distinction of the ruling class and mass violence. The group has in between 100 and 150 members. Circulation peaked at 20,000 during the poll tax riots of 1990. The newspaper presents extreme politics in a humourous way similar to Viz. The post-communist era and anti-establishment groups has resulted in government opposition to the newspaper.
