Article Abstract:
The Glastonbury rock festival seems to have moved a long way from its origins in 1970. It has now become very high-tech and sophisticated, and has come to be associated with things other than music. Those who attend seem to be very in touch with the modern world, rather than wanting to escape from it and return to nature. However, the 1998 festival still had some links with past festivals, including the mud.
