They said I was dirty
Article Abstract:
Campaigning on behalf of the family of murdered black teenager Stephen Lawrence has been extremely challenging, according to lawyer Imran Khan. He particularly resents the fact that the Metropolitan Police implied that he was politically motivated. He hopes that the high public profile he has gained as a result of this work will help to improve the image of Asian lawyers. He feels that there is a basic conservatism at the heart of the legal profession which hampers progressive reform.
