They took my foreskin, and I want it back
Article Abstract:
Psychologist Dr Bigelow of California restored the skin of his penile shaft by constant stretching and holding it in place with surgical tape. His book 'The Joy of Uncirumcising!' received sympathetic reviews in two medical journals and sold 5,000 copies. About 60% of infants undergo circumcision as a routine social ritual. Many health professionals consider it unnecessary. Some men who were cirumcised at birth or when very young feel incomplete and would prefer to restore the foreskin. Keratinisation occurs with time and men lose sensitivity.

The truth about baby breathing monitors
Article Abstract:
Parents who are anxious about their baby's health may feel reassured by using equipment which monitors the baby's heartbeat and breathing during sleep. These monitors will sound an alarm if the baby's breathing or heart stops for more than a pre-set time. However, there can be a number of problems associated with them. It is common for monitors to give a false alarm, for example, and they can also create a false sense of security. There is also no evidence that they can help to prevent cot death.

Shut your eyes, breathe and forget all your fears
Article Abstract:
The University of Greenwich, England, is offering stress management training for staff and students. Counsellor Shohreh Azarkedeh runs a course of four workshops in which the focus is on self-discovery, rather than specifically on dealing with stress. Emphasis is placed on exercise and meditation, and participants are also encouraged to accept that they cannot always be perfect and to resist the temptation to constantly compare themselves with others.
