They were good lines, whatever they meant
Article Abstract:
Kingsley Amis, who died recently, had very close links with Philip Larkin, who came to be seen as the greatest poet of his day. Amis was more well known as a novelist, and undervalued his own poetic works. He was often critical of other poets, but had great admiration for Larkin. Gavin Ewart, who also died recently, regarded writing poetry as a everyday activity. He was able to gain inspiration from many different sources, and gained pleasure from the success of other poets.

'I'll run away and then they'll be sorry.' (actor Stephen Fry)
Article Abstract:
Actor Stephen Fry behaved in a very childish way in disappearing from a new play. It seems that he felt unloved, and was testing people's affections. He may have thought that he wanted to be alone, but subconsciously was probably seeking media attention. He is obviously a very talented actor, so should not have been so affected by the negative reports of his new play. He should now see a psychiatrist who can convince him of his acting abilities.
