This is the planet of sound
Article Abstract:
The Pixies did not really directly influence other rock groups, according to singer and songwriter Frank Black. Similarly, the group's role in pioneering grunge music has been exaggerated. The group was a central feature of the UK music scene in the late 1980s, even though its members were actually American. The group's music remains relevant because its members were unaware of any rules or conventions. An album entitled 'Death to the Pixies,' which covers the group's most popular music, is to be released in Oct 1997.

A softie, and no bull
Article Abstract:
The bulldog has for many years had a strong reputation for courage and determination. However, selective breeding carried out through many generations has actually robbed the bulldog of some of the characteristics with which it was traditionally associated. Modern bulldogs look fierce, but are in fact generally docile and good-natured. Some observers believe that the dog's physical characteristics, especially its large head, have been carried to extremes, thus creating health problems.
