Thoroughly modern Moro
Article Abstract:
The house designed by architect Peter Moro in Blackheath Park, south-east London, England, in the late 1950s is one of only 32 private houses from the 1950s and 1960s to be listed. This house retains almost all its original details, including pine ceilings, black floor tiles and a free-standing fireplace. English Heritage reports that there is growing interest in such houses, with potential purchasers being willing to research the architect.

Green vision where once the car was king
Article Abstract:
The demolition of the historic Renault factory on Ile Seguin, west of Paris, France, will make it possible to redevelop this key urban site in an environmentally-friendly way. Architect Bruno Fortier has drawn up plans for small groups of offices and residential units among green areas. Vehicles will be kept to a minimum, and all car parks will be located underneath the buildings. The eventual use of the buildings has not yet been decided.
