Bright Station posted a loss for the first quarter to 31 March 2000, due mainly to a GB[pound] 106mn exceptional charge on the disposal of its information services arm. The UK-based Internet business posted turnover of GB[pound] 1.5mn in its Net ventures, e-commerce and Web solutions units, compared with GB[pound] 1.2mn previously, although the divisions' operating losses totalled GB[pound] 1.9mn. Cordiant issues fresh profit warning and cuts 400 jobs
