Unmoved by tragedy, Nato sends its regrets
Article Abstract:
Nato has expressed regret that civilians perished when a bomb attack on the Lujane bridge near Pristina, Kosovo, Yugoslavia, hit a bus crossing the bridge. It has been emphasized that the bus was not deliberately targetted. Nato is still unwilling to take more direct action to stop the atrocities against the ethnic Albanians in Kosovo, even though aerial attacks are clearly proving ineffective. Nato action is in fact little more than an American attack on Yugoslavia, with American aircraft being used to drop American bombs.

The convoy massacre: Nato offers its evidence
Article Abstract:
Nato has admitted that Jaguar aircraft and F-16s mistakenly targeted two refugee convoys in Kosovo, Yugoslavia, on Apr 14, 1999. Pilots from RAF Harriers had warned that civilian vehicles were among one of the convoys, but this information was not transmitted to the F-16 pilots involved in the attack, in which nine 500lb laser-guided bombs were used. Nato has still not identified exactly how many civilian vehicles were hit and how many casualties were caused.
