Watch out, she's a Rottweiler
Article Abstract:
Appearing on the popular radio programme 'Desert Island Discs' can be a very unnerving experience. Those who are requested to appear often wonder why they have been chosen, as traditionally the programme has featured people who have made some outstanding achievement. Selecting a small number of favourite pieces of music can be very hard, as people do not wish to appear uncultured. Furthermore, they often feel forced by the interviewing technique of presenter Sue Lawley to reveal more about their personal lives than they would wish.

A safe haven for the stars
Article Abstract:
Priory Hospital in Roehampton, England, set in a very large, castellated building constructed in 1811, has facilities to treat 105 people suffering from a wide range of psychiatric illnesses. Some of its patients are very wealthy, and pay around 7,000 pounds sterling for a three-week stay. However, some of its patients are treated at the expense of the National Health Service, and this brings great social diversity. Patients can participate in many different activities, and are also offered alternatives to conventional medication.
