What feminism offers men

Article Abstract:

It is not appropriate to declare the end of feminism when there are still indications that women are disadvantaged compared with men in certain situations, such as the job market. However, it is correct to state that the time for a feminism that always brings all women into conflict with all men has gone. It is now time to distinguish between a system that generally benefits men and the individual men who may not have benefited from this system. Feminists should now build on their success, rather than being embarrassed about it.

Article Abstract:

Cherie Booth, wife of UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, had appeared to totally abandon her own character in order to comply with what the media and the Labour party expected her to be. However, it is becoming clear that she is a campaigner and an idealist, and this is bringing her into conflict with the government. Her recent criticism of the new legislation contained in the Youth Justice and Criminal Evidence Bill highlights the fact that the life she leads is in sharp conflict with the blank face she presents to the media.
