UK: PLANNING CLEARANCE FOR PADDINGTON PROJECT
Article Abstract:
Development Securities obtained planning clearance on 17 October 2000 for part of a massive redevelopment of Paddington in central London. The Paddington Goods Yard project will be the first stage of a 1.9mn square foot scheme in this part of the UK capital. The regeneration in total will entail 8mn square foot of residential, office and leisure space. Development Securities is scheduled to finish its project inside seven years, with work commencing on 23 October 2000.
