The delights of getting hitched
Article Abstract:
A horse-drawn carriage makes a very worthwhile investment, as carriages are currently rising in value by 10% a year in the UK. The main source of secondhand carriages is auction house Thimbledy and Shorland, which holds four large sales a year. It is possible to purchase a two-wheel, two-seat exercise cart for as little as 150 pounds sterling, but some carriages are now selling at more than 70,000 pounds sterling. A company purchasing a carriage for entertaining clients will need to employ the services of a job-master to drive it.

Train-spotter's guide to kitsch and tat
Article Abstract:
Tat is the sort of secondhand junk which people without taste own, including reproductions and miniature items made from cheap plastic. Holiday souvenirs are good examples. It is nostalgic and corny. Kitsch is tat made in expensive materials. Tat is often overpriced as sellers try to pass it off as kitsch. The existence of a tat shop, 'Wally's North London No 1 Antiquated Shop' at 217 Stoke Newington High Street, London N16, England, shows that tat is becoming collectable.
