Article Abstract:
Most people who do not enjoy cricket fail to understand the rules of the game, according to former cricketer Ian Botham. He believes that there are not many good all-round cricketers at present, although he admires Steve Waugh and Sean Pollock. He favours the introduction of two leagues in county cricket, regarding this as having the potential to improve the standard of cricket in the UK. His greatest sporting hero is golfer Jack Nicklaus.
