A case study of the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center in the context of the Cabral-Dahab Paradigm with comparison to other US research parks
Article Abstract:
The Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center and 18-randomly selected US industrial parks are evaluated in the context of the Cabral and Dahab paradigm. Findings show that most parks place a considerable degree of importance on access to qualified research personnel, on having a clear park identity, on having a financially and technically capable management, on having transport and end-user access and on having the powerful backing of university entities.
