A decision model linkage between technology forecasting, technology dominance and technology strategy
Article Abstract:
A hierarchical structure for the analysis of technological strategies using the concept of technological dominance is presented. Finding a strategy for a company to maintain its technological dominance is the ultimate purpose of technological forecasting. Based on the algorithms of the hierarchical selection model, four illustrative examples are provided. It is suggested that future research should focus on the comparison of various measurements of technological dominance and technological level.
