Article Abstract:
Researchers have developed a pain-killing drug called SNX-111 from the venom of cone snails. The drug eliminated severe pain in five of seven patients who were tested. The drug has not led to tolerance or addiction, and the side effects are slightly lower blood pressure and mild eye jitters.
