Antibiotic resistance: a growing health threat
Article Abstract:
Dianne Murphy and Gary Chikami have proven that the issue of antibiotic resistance is a real problem and something that will not just go away. Their assessment of the situation suggests that several strategies including surveillance, education and hygiene will prevent the situation from getting worse. New antibiotics are needed in fighting the problem and most pharmaceutical firms have new products to be released in the market. Also, the development of vaccines against bacterial infections is in progress.

Mission control: politics, not size, is the real threat to megaprojects at NASA
Article Abstract:
A popular megaproject which is greatly affected by politics is the space exploration project of NASA. Bad publicities have affected NASA because of the explosion of two satellites only seconds after their launch in Aug 1998. Such disasters can be expected in large projects which employ the most advanced technology. This is because of political wranglings which often lead to results which are below par and sometimes disastrous.
