CNF report calls for larger Interlake National Park
Article Abstract:
A report submitted by the Canadian Nature Federation to the Manitoba and federal government contained proposals to expand the area of the Interlake National Park to include karst landscapes, as well as its limestone caves, the bat hibernacula, marl lakes, and nearby hardwood/mixed forests.

Fishing for a marine conservation program
Article Abstract:
Marine ecosystems need renewed attention as human activities continue to adversely affect species and habitat. The completion of the national marine park system and protection of local marine areas comprise the agenda of the Marine Conservation Forum of the Canadian Nature Federation.

Mixed grades on endangered spaces report card
Article Abstract:
The annual Endangered Spaces report card of the World Wildlife Fund Canada and the Canadian Nature Federation rates government bodies on their environmental initiatives. In 1995, British Columbia got an A- for its efforts.
