Calatrava skyscraper to dominate Chicago skyline

Sculptor, engineer and architect Santiago Calatrava has come to Chicago to construct United States tallest building, the 2,000 feet Fordham Spire, for Fordham Company. The construction of the slender, twisting design building will be started in May 2006 and will have a 20-story luxury hotel along with 200 to 250 condominiums.
