Coming to Grips With The Golgi
Article Abstract:
Research on the function of the Golgi apparatus has produced important information as the scientific community commemorates the 100th anniversary of the discovery of the membranous network. Evidence suggests that the cisternae and vesicles actually move to facilitate protein transport. This new view is called the cisternal maturation model.
