Motorola radios have made a big difference to five community groups, the Kenya Police and the Samburu District administrations. These devices enabled them to communicate data regarding animal injuries, human injuries and conflicts to scientists and local conservationists, helping them mobilize a rapid response team to tackle these situations in the forests.

It takes a village to save a turtle

A Caribbean community takes on turtle poachers, saving leatherback sea turtles that nest on their local beach. The Matura residents have started a group called Nature Seekers, contributing to the survival of an endangered species.
